The Sheriff reported that 797 persons are currently housed in the Harrison County Jail Facilities. These numbers include 82 misdemeanors, 21 juveniles (eight in Juvenile Detention from Harrison County), 114 state inmates, 19 federal inmates, with eight inmates ready for transfer to a state facility.
