ORDER awarding the contract for the ARPA Beach Outfall Repair & Replacement project to the low bidder, Specialty Contractors & Associates, Inc., for a total bid amount of $3,792,126.05, and authorize the Board President to execute contract documents following legal review of same, as recommended by the Design Engineer, Brown Mitchell & Alexander and Jaclyn Turner, County Engineer. There were several plan holders. Only one bid was received and the bid was lower than the county estimate and budget. Grant and auditor staff confirmed that the bid process was followed appropriately for the bid award.
