a) $1,000.00 awarded to Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity in support of the 26th Annual Golf Tournament, scheduled for June 14, 2025, at the Windance Golf Course in Gulfport, Mississippi. b) $1,500.00 awarded to Griots Society of Gulfport in support of the 2025 Gulfport City-Wide 25th Annual Juneteenth Celebration, held June 17 - June 22, 2025, in (TurkeyCreek) Gulfport, Mississippi. This week-long celebration will commemorate the historic significance of Juneteenth, highlighting African American culture, heritage, and resilience through a series of community-focused events, educational activities, and festivities.
c) $1,000.00 awarded to Gulfport High School Track and Field Booster Club in support of hosting the 2025 Annual Gaston Hewes Relays, held on April 11, 2025, at Gulfport High School Track. The event unites several local Mississippi schools, where student-athletes face off in an exhilarating lineup of track and field competitions.
