ORDER authorizing expenditures, as listed, pursuant to Miss. Code 17-3-1 et seq. as necessary to advertise and bring into favorable notice, opportunities, possibilities, and resources of Harrison County, Mississippi, and which in the judgment of such board or boards will be helpful toward advancing the moral, and/or financial and/or other interests of the county including all forms of advertising, including but not limited to broadcast advertising, logo recognition on publicity collateral, other media, and all broadcast, printed material and signage along with the link displayed to Harrison County Online: <<<https://harrisoncountyms.gov>>>. All recipients are required to provide proof of advertising prior to receipt of funds:
a) $200.00 to the Gulf Coast Legal Professionals for full-page ad in their 2026 legal directory
b) $1,500.00 to National Black Caucus of State Legislators (NBCSL), for Presidents Reception- Soul of the South, December 10, 2025, Biloxi, Mississippi
c) $1,000.00 to the Biloxi Bay Area Chamber of Commerce to advertise county resources with members.
d) $2,500.00 to the Diversity Center, for Christmas Toy & Ham Giveaway, December 20, 2025, Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church
e) $1,000.00 to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation - Mississippi Chapter, for Sleigh Cystic Fibrosis, Bayou Bluff Tennis Club, December 19, 2025, banner ads, and program sponsor
f) $1,000.00 to Harrison Central Girls Basketball, sponsor girls basketball season
g) $1,000.00 to Harrison Central Boys Basketball, sponsor boys basketball season
