ORDER authorizing expenditures, as listed, pursuant to Miss. Code 17-3-1 et seq as necessary to advertise and bring into favorable notice, opportunities, possibilities, and resources of Harrison County, Mississippi, and which in the judgment of such board or boards will be helpful toward advancing the moral, and/or financial and/or other interests of the county including all forms of advertising, including but not limited to broadcast advertising, logo recognition on publicity collateral, other media, and all broadcast, printed material and signage along with the link displayed to Harrison County Online: <<<https://harrisoncountyms.gov>>>. All recipients are required to provide proof of advertising prior to receipt of funds.
a) $3,000.00 to The Diversity Center, for Spring Into Wellness Senior & Veteran Resource Fair, March 18, 2026, being held at the Orange Grove Community Center
b) $500.00 to Humane Society of South Mississippi, for 10th Annual Krewe of Barkloxi PAWrade, February 1, 2026, being held at the Biloxi Point Cadet Pavilion with logo on event flyers, onsite event banners, and social media
c) $5,000.00 to D'Iberville High School Baseball Team for uniforms (jerseys and pants) for seasons 2026 - 2030, with logo on banner on Hwy 67
d) $10,000.00 to Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee to sponsor parade, musical program at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, Biloxi, and dedication ceremony at the Dr. Frank Gruich Community Center, Biloxi, January 16-19, 2026.
e) $1,000.00 to Gulfport Main Street Association for 4th Annual Gumbo Fest, being held January 24, 2026, in Downtown Gulfport, for advertising on flyers, stage banner, website and social media
