ORDER authorizing expenditures, as listed, pursuant to Miss. Code 17-3-1 et seq as necessary to advertise and bring into favorable notice, opportunities, possibilities, and resources of Harrison County, Mississippi, and which in the judgment of such board or boards will be helpful toward advancing the moral, and/or financial and/or other interests of the county including all forms of advertising, including but not limited to broadcast advertising, logo recognition on publicity collateral, other media, and all broadcast, printed material and signage along with the link displayed to Harrison County Online: <<<https://harrisoncountyms.gov>>>. All recipients are required to provide proof of advertising prior to receipt of funds.
a) $1,500.00 to Second Street Social Club, to advertise at the 5th Annual Mardi Gras parade and concert by radio, banner, website and full page ad in program.
b) $2,000.00 to Theta Zeta Omega Chapter of AKA Sorority, Inc., for The Ivy and Pearl Affair Scholarship Ball, being held at IP Casino Resort Spa, March 28, 2026, logo on website, social media and event advertising
c) $500.00 to West Harrison Baseball Diamond Club, for 5x10 Outfield Wall Sign and Foul Ball Game Announcements, for 2026 Baseball Season
d) $1,000.00 to Ms. Wheelchair Mississippi Foundation, for Ms. Wheelchair Mississippi Pageant, February 20 - 22, 2026 and November 13-15, 2026, Crystal Springs, MS. advertising on social media, website, and program
