ORDER authorizing expenditures, as listed, pursuant to Miss. Code 17-3-1 et seq as necessary to advertise and bring into favorable notice, opportunities, possibilities, and resources of Harrison County, Mississippi, and which in the judgment of such board or boards will be helpful toward advancing the moral, and/or financial and/or other interests of the county including all forms of advertising, including but not limited to broadcast advertising, logo recognition on publicity collateral, other media, and all broadcast, printed material and signage along with the link displayed to Harrison County Online: <<<https://harrisoncountyms.gov>>>. All recipients are required to provide proof of advertising prior to receipt of funds.
a) $500.00 to Reigniting the Dream Coalition for Veterans Empowerment Day, from Service to Strength at the Orange Grove Community Center, October 10, 2026, advertising on social media, flyers and tv.
b) $500.00 to MS Gulf Coast Alumnae Chapter Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., for DSTee Golf Tournament, The Bridges Golf Course, October 3, 2026, advertising on signage at golf tournament.
c) $6,000.00 to United N Blue, for A Night In Blue and Red, at the MS Coast Coliseum, November 14, 2026, advertising on flyers, website, posters, and social media.
d) $3,000.00 to MS Gulf Resort Classic Foundation, for Collegiate Golf Tournament at Fallen Oak Golf Course, October 16-19, 2026, advertising on printed material, social media, and tv.
e) $1,500.00 to D'Iberville High School Football Booster Club, for DHS 2026 football season, advertising on the Jumbtron.
