a) Judge Mike Dickinson, Valeri Underwood, Tiffany Gele, Catelyn Williams, Denee Wilkerson, Angelique White, Darnell Nicovich, Dayton Kea, and Jim Smallwood, Youth Court Abuse and Neglect Staff, to attend the 13th Annual One Loud Voice Conference at the Beau Rivage from November 4-6, 2026. Early Bird Registration Fee until September 30th at $375.00 per attendee, totaling $3,375.00. Money within budget, payable from Account No. 001-164-486.
b) Supervisor Power to attend the Mississippi Juvenile Justice Advisory Committee, at the DPS Headquarters in Pearl, Mississippi on October 21, 2026, with use of county vehicle.
c) David Nelson, Vincent Flores, Lavonda Hubbard, Cade Ladner, Edward Resh, and Brian Wheeler, Fire Fighters to attend the Swift Water Rescue at Bogue Chitto State Park Franklinton, Louisiana September 21-25 2026. Use of two company vehicles (traveling from Gulfport to Franklinton each day), registration is $715.00 each for a total of $4,290.00 (quote attached). Requesting a line item transfer of $4,290.00 from 106-250-476 to 106-250-486.
d) Any Supervisor, Chancery Clerk, County Administrator, Comptroller, Road Manager, and Road Department Assistant Road Managers to attend the MAS 2026 Fall Educational & Policy Development Workshop, Tupelo, Mississippi, 10/12/2026 - 10/15/2026.
e) Matt Stratton, EMA Director, Jason Purvis, EMA Deputy Director, and Joey King, EMA Operations Officer, to attend MCDEMA 2026 Education Conference in Biloxi, Mississippi, November 17-19, 2026, registration $275.00 each, within budget.
