The Board discussed the modification of the Land Subdivision Design Sequence to change ordinance to allow for sidewalk construction to be built with each home rather than the entire road. The following conditions would apply:
• All sidewalks at locations not specifically platted to be home sites will be complete prior to final plat.
• Sidewalks built with homes shall be a minimum of 4’ wide, 4” thick and ADA compliant
• Grass at least 2’ wide shall be placed between the back of curb and sidewalk
• Any utility box, manhole, or access shall be located outside the sidewalk or the sidewalk shall be flush with the top
• Concrete shall be minimum 3,000 psi, fiber reinforced mix, copy of load tickets provided to the County when poured
• Contraction joints shall be placed at 5’ spacing, with ½” expansion joints at 30’ spacing
• Builder to notify County prior to pouring sidewalk concrete to inspect forms and depth
