ORDER authorizing expenditures, as listed, as necessary to advertise and bring into favorable notice the opportunities, possibilities and resources of Harrison County, Mississippi, including all forms of advertising, including but not limited to broadcast advertising, logo recognition on publicity collateral, other media, and all broadcast, printed material and signage along with the link displayed to Harrison County Online: <https://harrisoncountyms.gov>, as follows:
a) $1,000 to Theta Zeta Omega Ivy Foundation for the 15th Annual Ivy and Pearl Affair Scholarship Ball, March 29, 2025. Recipients are required to show proof of advertisement. ($500 District 1 - Cuevas) & ($500 District 4 - Jones)
b) $800 to the Unity Festival, Inc. for the 17th Annual Unity Festival, Saturday, March 15, 2025. Recipients are required to show proof of advertisement. - (District 4 - Jones)
c) $200 to St. Paul's Carnival Association, Inc. for the purchase of a one full page ad in color to be viewed in the program at the St. Paul's Carnival Ball - ($100 District 2 - Powers) & ($100 - District 1 - Cuevas)
